Developed for the 2025 GMTK Game Jam!
The Courageous Mouse
is a puzzle / exploration game, where you guide a fearful yet courageous mouse to explore his forest home; however, you can only move a limited number of times before he scampers back to safety! After every loop you craft your own map, viewable in-game, to help guide you through the labyrinthian woods and to the ultimate treasure within.
Controls:
WASD or Arrow Keys to move.
R to Reset your loop.
ESC to quit
Tab / M to open the minimap.
Left and Right click to draw / erase on the large map.
Developer Advice:
Make sure to draw your own map early and often, via the "Map your Progress" button on the end of loop screen!

i liked your idea and cool art working It was hard to solve, but I really liked it we did use rat in our game also and we are brothers now if you have time, check out our game Loop Cuisine.
This is a REALLY!!! Cute game. Stumbled upon it by chance, spent the last few hours trying to solve it, filled a few pages of gridded paper to chart a map and I still have not finished. I-ll probably attempt to finish tomorrow since the bed calls. It-s adorable and I enjoy the challenge! Great game
